9 African teams will be competing. These are Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, l’Erythrée, Morocco , Rwanda, South Africa and host country Gabon. This race has its lot of innovation. First is the race against time at night during the sixth stage to be held in Gabon’s economic hub, Port-Gentil.
