Gabon forfeits in Mali
Gabon’s U23 football team did not join Mali for the first round of the African games qualifiers; the absence of the U23 panthers at ModiboKeïta’s stadium in Bamako means forfeit.
The African Football Confederation did confirm Gabon’s forfeit. Mali will face Nigeria as part of the second round of the African games qualifiers.
After Libya’s withdrawal from the competition. There are 15 countries to attend the competition: there are along with Malia and Gabon South Africa, Botswana, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana,Guinea Bissau, Madagascar, Senegal, Tanzania, Zambiaand Zimbabwe.
