The trade union organizations which took part in the social dialogue in Angondjé decided to put pressure on the government about the imminent completion of the registered points decided at the meeting, by January 25th.

"The government has until January 25 to set to music the decisions of the social dialogue held in Angondjé," insisted the spokesman for the union organizations, Pulchérie Mateja.
According to the unions, the government would not be in line with the instructions given by the head of state.
"On November 17th, Ali Bongo Ondimba has urged the government to set up a social dialogue where all issues would be discussed without taboos and depth. All unions welcomed this initiative that would have had the merit to appease the tense social climate. However, the government is rowing against the current decisions of the President of the Republic, " blasted Pulchérie Mateja.
Faced with this situation, unions held a press briefing Wednesday, January 7th in the Omar Bongo University (UOB) warn Daniel Ona Ondo and members of his government if the decisions taken so consensus for social dialogue are not taken into account.
"(...) We reaffirm our commitment to the social conditions improved by January 25th, according to the statements of the President of the Republic. We warn the government against any attempt to impose on the working masses, non-consensual decisions. And we reserve the right to take any industrial action for failure to meet this deadline, "she continued.
The January 25, being close, what will be the response of the government?
