The ANUTTC resumes land registration program

As part of the land reform, the national Agency of Urbanism (ANUTTC) resumed its campaign for the registration of parcels. An operation which will got materialized by the delivery of land titles to the promoters of buildings or landlords of ground that are not declared unsuitable. “The first phase of this campaign will be at Awendje, Nzeng Ayong, bottom of Gué - Gué, Mindoube and Okala-Mikolongo districts," said the ANUTTC representative.

Some other actions are undertaken to speed up the process of cases and improve users’ conditions. One of this actions is the up-dating of the land management software and the rehabilitation of the ANUTTC headquarters, as well as the setting of the different office for Owendo, Akanda and Ntoum.

As a reminder, A land title is an official record of who owns a piece of land. It can also include information about mortgages, covenants, caveats and easements. The role of the ANUTTC is to simplify procedures and reduce delays in obtaining of lands.
