President Ali Bongo condemns Charlie Hebdo attack

President Ali Bongo is the first African president to express over Charlie Hebdo attack. The Gabonese president officially condemned the massacre and expressed its support to the victims of the French news journal Charlie Hebdo and the entire country.

“I condemn this hideous action that nothing can justify and give my deepest condolences to the victims’ families” said President Ali Bongo.
Actually, yesterday, 3 hooded gunmen dressed in black burst into the office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and killed12 people in a coordinated strike before escaping onto the streets of Paris. In addition to the 12 dead, 11 people have been wounded, including four in “serious condition” said the prosecutor.
French president François Holland declared Thursday as a national day of mourning for those killed in the Charlie Hebdo attack. He asked for a moment of reflection this Thursday and said flags will be at half-staff for three days.
