Gabon’s Government opens investigations

Gabon’s Interior Minister Guy Bertrand Mapangou announced last Monday that investigations are opened to find out the responsible for the burning of the Benin Embassy to Gabon.

"An investigation is naturally opened," said Mr. Mapangou out of a hearing at the Beninese Ambassador’s.

"For now, I cannot tell you anything about the reasons of such a forfeit. Wait for the outcome of the investigation", answered the Interior Minister to the Beninse Government question over the choice of their premises as the demonstrators’ target.

The diplomatic premises of Benin to Gabon was burned down Sunday night by suspected opposition supporters who livers in riots after the announcement of André Mba Obame’s death, died Sunday in Yaoundé in Cameroon, following a long illness.
