Police to secure Andre Mba Obame’s cortege
Police will ensure the security of late opponent Andre Mba Obame’s procession to the funeral, whose remains arrived in Libreville this Tuesday at noon from Yaoundé in Cameroon where he died, says an official statement of the Home Ministry.
According to this press release, the Home Ministry and the family agreed to move the remains from the airport directly to the Nzeng Ayong Stadium by the highway.
A little later in the evening, the remains, still under police escort will leave the stadium for the private residence in Barcelona, near the interchange of the Lycée d’etat high school before being conducted to the National Union headquarters for a final political homage.
