Total Gabon: annual turnover 15% down
Total Gabon announced its annual turnover of 1.538 million, a decrease of 15% which was mainly due to lower average selling prices of crude accentuated by lower volumes sold.
In 2014, the average price of Brent was $ 99.0 dollars per barrel, down 9% and the average sales price of both crude oil grades marketed by Total Gabon (Mandji and Rabi Light) declined from 10% to 93.6 dollars.
The share of crude oil production (operated and non-operated) from Total Gabon holdings stood at 47,000 barrels per day, compared to 46,900 barrels per day in 2013.
This stability is due to the increase in Mandji quality crude oil production of the fields operated by Total Gabon (new wells and intervention in existing wells), offset by the significant decline in the quality of crude oil production by Shell operated Rabi Gabon and the impact end of the year a strike.
