The government sells its share of the CNNII

Following the different problems of management of the National Company of Navigation (CNNII), the government has decided to sell 55% of its share of the company.

A year after its creation, the CNNII already faces tensions of cash as well as difficulty in operating itsfleet, now reduced to a quarter of its capacity either 3 functional boats.
In order to find solutions to this situation that pushed the employees of the company and better working conditions as well as offering better services, the government entitled the general secretary of privatization committee to open the CNNII capital to the private sector.

"On November 14th, the government allowed us to sell out their shares to the private sector" said Félix Onkeya, at the meeting with the delegates of the staff on December 9th.
