The AfDB grants Gabon 580 million CFA Francs

Gabon and the African Development Bank (BAD) signed yesterday at the Chamber of commerce a convention of 580 million francs donation in order to strengthen the organizational capacity of the national body responsible for representing the interests of commercial, industrial companies and services.

The Chamber of commerce received the African Development Bank’s grant (ADB). A total of about 580 million francs distributed as follows: 97 million for expenses of goods and equipments, 326 million for services and nearly 152 million for costs of operation and unexpected.

This envelope will enable the enhancement of Gabon’s economy to better its missions of representation, consultation and promotion for the benefit of the companies of any size.

According to the president of the Chamber of commerce, this support is structured around three components: the establishment of an authorized management, the creation of a centre for arbitration and conciliation and setting up of an subcontracting and partnership exchange.
