Gabon’s PM confirmed salaries increase
Gabon’s Prime Minister Daniel Ona Ondo confirmed salaries increase in public administration, last Friday in Libreville during the National Assembly session.
"But it will be orderly in line with budgetary constraints and our financing economy strategy, focused on the priority given to investments that influence growth and, consequently, the emergence of our country," he said, stressing the willingness of the Executive to set up a new system of remuneration in the public administration.
"The Government reaffirms here its commitment to implement a new system of remuneration, in the deadlines that require its tailoring, the formulation of the appropriate legal framework and its implementation", added up Daniel Ona Ondo.
The new system of remuneration, already being finalized, aims to combat poverty and the precariousness of civil servants, in accordance with the wishes of Gabon’s Head of State, explained the Prime Minister.
